ENGADIN/St. Moritz
A place that enjoys so many days of sunshine barely needs weather forecasts. On 322 days a year in St. Moritz the weather conditions are perfect.
For walkers exploring the enchanting trails through the valley. For mountaineers, who relish the challenge of the Piz Palü and Piz Bernina. For mountain bikers, who can travel with their bikes on the Corviglia funicular and Marguns gondola up to thrilling routes. And for water lovers of all ages, splashing about in the lakes and mountain rivers. For thanks to the family resort of Maloja, children are in their element here too.

How to get there

Public Transport: Take a train of the Swiss Federal Railway (Schweizerische Bundesbahn, SBB) to Chur. Once there, change trains and take the Rhaetian Railway (Rhätische Bahn, RhB) to continue your journey.

The train route through the Grisons to the ENGADIN with its tunnel turns and viaducts bridging giddy heights is one of the most interesting and picturesque routes of Europe. Since November 1999 there is also the possibility of taking the line through the Vereina tunnel, which shortens the trip from Zürich to St. Moritz, for example, to less than three and a half hours.
