Welcome to a gastronomic adventure! The idyllic resort
of Les Paccots, located between Vevey and Fribourg
at an airy 1,000 m, has a variety of treats in store for food
lovers.
Various gourmet paths lead from one alpine hut
to the next and to mountain inns, where local delicacies
are served in taster portions. Depending on your appetite
and mood, you can choose between the Little Gourmet,
Family and Panorama Paths: everyone is guaranteed to
have their fill – not least of the fabulous views. Children
also love the original and fun recreational area in the
centre of the resort, devoted to local animal life – complete
with giant board games and of course an animal
enclosure. Other activities and facilities on offer include
riding, tennis, mountain-biking, Nordic walking, exercise
trails and a swimming pool.
How to get there
Public Transport: Lausanne - Palézieux by SBB. Palézieux - Châtel-St-Denis by TPF (Public transportation from Freiburg (Fribourg). Then take the bus Châtel-St-Denis-Les Paccots.
Lausanne - Vevey by SBB. Continue by bus from Vevey to Châtel-St-Denis. Subsequently, ride the bus Châtel-St-Denis - Les Paccots.
Lausanne - Vevey by SBB. Continue by bus from Vevey to Châtel-St-Denis. Subsequently, ride the bus Châtel-St-Denis - Les Paccots.
By car: From Geneva: Autobahn A9 to Vevey. Subsequently, take Autobahn A12 in the direction of Bern. Exit Châtel-St-Denis. Then drive on the cantonal roads up to Les Paccots.
