Toggenburg
A tree with cowbells for fruit, a didgeridoo carved from the rock, a flute fence – the Toggenburg Tone Trail at the foot of the Churfirsten gets nature to sing, and visitors to play on 23 highly unusual instruments.
If musical adventures sound less appealing then monstrous ones, head instead to Alp Selamatt and take the Fable Trail into the realm of the spirits. Whatever your tastes, the Toggenburg is known as one of the most beautiful of all hiking regions – not to mention a hub for mountain-biking.
