The route, Alpine Cultural Trail, which leads from Lake Geneva to Val Müstair in many stages, can be divided into small day tours. A particularly fascinating section is situated in the trendy heartland of Switzerland along the historic pass road leading to Mt. Gotthard. The hike is accompanied by the roaring of the river Reuss and occasionally by the traffic hum, and leads from Gurtnellen past Wassen through the awe-inspiring Schöllenen Canyon into the high valley of Andermatt.
