The magnificent view of Lac Léman is your constant companion on this varied hike on flat terrain from Montreux to Le Bouveret. The sophisticated city of Montreux is your starting point. You then hike past the renowned castle of Chillon to Villeneuve. The crossing of the Rhone delta follows. The delta, which is a nature reserve of national significance, forms an impressive contrast to the populated slopes of Lavaux.
