The journey on the cog railway from the palm-lined shores of Lake Geneva up to the edelweiss-strewn meadows on the Rochers de Naye (2045m) takes just one hour. Later you can enjoy a fantastic sunset at Lake Geneva.
Visitors to the Rochers-de-Naye can now spend the night in an 8-man yurt or in a 'mattress camp'. The cliff-face panorama restaurant "Plein Roc" commands spectacular views and is open all year round.
How to get there:
By rail or car to Montreux and from there with the cog railway up to Rochers-de-Naye (takes about an hour).
Sunset:
The spectacular sunset high above Lake Geneva is a memorable experience. The last cogwheel train returns during the summer months at 6:46 p.m.
