A children-friendly walking tour on flat, scenic terrain. Start at the Sarnen town hall and walk along the Sameraa to the lakeshore gardens, Seefeld (15 minutes) to the campsite.

Sarnen, the main city of the Canton of Obwalden, with seat of government, has the ambience of a charming village, but its offerings are plentiful, like those of a district town. Sarnen at the shore of Lake Samen is embedded in a lovely landscape and skirted by magnificent mountains. Numerous sights bear witness to its turbulent past. Located between Lucerne and Interlaken, Sarnen is an ideal starting point for excursions.
