2,000 years ago, the Via Spluga was already used as the main route from
Thusis to Italy - today you can hike it for fun, while your luggage is taken to your next overnight stop. Four days of hiking take you through the Viamala and Roffla gorges and on stony paths over the Splügen pass (2,115m) to Italy, before heading down through the picturesque Val San Giacomo to Chiavenna.
Along old trading paths.
