Mountain hotel high above the Massa valley, with awe-inspiring views stretching from the large Aletsch Glacier to the Matterhorn and Weisshorn. Constructed in 1857 on this ‘lodging place’, when the English founded the first Alpine club in Switzerland. Stunningly beautiful sun-terrace. Rooms and appealing seminar area in the attic storey. Accessible by cableway from Blatten, then a 1.8 km walk on level ground.
