Sörenberg

Paradise for winter walkers: The largest winter sports area in canton Lucerne lies within the scenic Entlebuch UNESCO Biosphere Reserve.
It takes in two worlds. Life in Sörenberg village is unhurried, its gentle pleasures fully in tune with nature. Here the highlights are walks by moonlight, and snowshoeing and discovery tours through an idyllic winter landscape. There are some appealingly varied alpine runs, with lively snow bars beside the piste. Those setting their sights higher, however, ride on the cable car from Sörenberg up to the Brienzer Rothorn, the highest and most attractive ski mountain in the region.
