This snow paradise is just 15 minutes from Lucerne, and lies directly on the A2 motorway (direction Gotthard – free parking). Klewenalp and Stockhütte are linked on the mountain to form one extensive winter sports area, in an unspoilt natural setting offering stunning views of Lake Lucerne. The Swiss Ski and Snowboard School offers classes and courses every day of the week, and a full range of the latest equipment is available for hire at the rental centre.

Snow sports

With 13 lifts and a total of 40 km of pistes – both beginner and intermediate – Klewenalp- Stockhütte makes an ideal family winter sports destination. For tobogganing fans, there’s a thrilling 11.4 km run, the longest in Central Switzerland. Everyone, meanwhile, can experience the magic of the snow-blanketed forests: don a pair of snowshoes for a unique experience of the unspoilt winter landscape, far from any human disturbance; or follow one of the prepared winter walking trails, on a relaxing hike or on an invigorating Nordic walking tour.
