This high snowcovered valley, free from motorised traffic, is totally given over to winter fun. There are 32 km of piste, from easy to challenging, stretching from 1,080 m up to 2,255 m; new kickers and rails at the Erzegg freestyle park; and, for families, the Fruttli- Land adventure play area. Crosscountry skiers and walkers enjoy the gorgeous mountain views; those with patience can even try the exotic pursuit of ice fishing.
