In the land of fairytales:
Behind the seven peaks of the imposing
Churfirsten lies a paradise
for little people: the fairytale landscape
of the Toggenburg.
Holidays
here aren’t about dashing around or
breaking records – but enjoying the
winter, the snow, the sun and the
unique landscape. And the astonishing
variety that this small ski region
offers: 60 km of superbly prepared
piste, fun with snowtubing and
snow-scooters, plus a freestyle park
and toboggan run. So not only do
little ones feel at home in the land
behind the seven peaks – their older
siblings, as well as parents and
grandparents, do too.
Top tip
The Toggenburg is one of the most
beautiful hiking regions in Switzerland
– in winter too. It lends itself
particularly well to snowshoe
hikes, with six marked trails, and
thirteen challenging GPS-guided
tours.
