A wealth of possibilities: Located at the heart of the famous "4 Vallées" winter sports area below the 3,330 m Mont-Fort, Nendaz offers an impressive 400-plus kilometres of piste.
Best of all is the variety of terrain: slopes to suit everyone from style-conscious carvers and cruisers to young speed freaks and cautious beginners. Snowshoe walkers have six routes rising up to 2,000 m to choose from, and winter walkers 100 km of paths through an idyllic forested landscape. The variety extends to accommodation, with plenty of good-value apartments in beautiful chalets.
