Sun-drenched and snow-sure, the Goms lies right at the head of the Rhone Valley. When everywhere is still green, the Goms is already gearing up for winter.
With over 100 km of prepared cross-country trails, 173 km of pistes, over 45 km of marked snowshoe trails, 163 km of winter walking trails and 11 sledge runs, the Goms is an area of endless winter sports fun.

Winter sports

The winter sports areas in the Goms fall into two categories – small, cosy and great for families, or challenging, attractive and active – right through to the après-ski at the end of the day. The 173 km of pistes provide something for everyone, whether carvers, boarders, beginners or children. The small “Hausberge” in Oberwald or local mountains in Gluringen, Münster, Binn, Fieschertal and Ulrichen are particularly suitable for families. And if you prefer to go higher, the Fiescheralp and the connected Aletsch area or Bellwald areas are just the thing for you!

Cross-country skiing

Nowhere else offers so many perfectly prepared cross-country trails – both skating and classic – as the Goms: 126 km in all, snow-sure and ready to enchant from the end of November. Come and discover our wonderfully sunny cross-country region!

Winter walking and snowshoeing

Are you looking for a winter holiday just that little bit different? How does an undisturbed glittering winter landscape grab you? The 163 km of well-prepared and idyllic winter walking trails and the over 45 km of signposted snowshoe trails provide a peaceful break from real life, while our 11 sledge runs are guaranteed fun!
