Unexpectedly varied: Apart from the chair lift with heated seats up to the summit of the Klingenstock, there is little that is dazzlingly modern about Stoos. Mostly the style here is pleasantly retro – which has its advantages.

Holidays in Stoos are good value, yet guests have all they need. There are 35 km of highly varied pistes and idyllic cross-country trails, airboarding, tobogganing, a snowsports school, a children’s ski area and winter walking trails. This cosy, car-free family resort is especially popular because it is easy to reach from Lucerne and Zürich.
