This winter hike from Motta Naluns to Prui and on to Ftan shows you the mountainous Lower Engadine in all its glory. High above the little spa town of Scuol, the trail winds along a sunny hillside all the way to Prui. There, hikers can stop for sustenance at a cosy wayside restaurant, surrounded on all sides by fantastic panoramic views of the Engadine Dolomites and the Swiss National Park. The descent back down to Ftan is rather steep in places and can be tackled in a variety of ways: on foot or by rented toboggan, for example, or – just to be really trendy – by airboard.
Motta Naluns - Prui - Ftan
From the Motta Naluns cable car station, turn left and follow the spectacular trail along the hillside to Prui. There, the trail continues straight ahead for a while, but then drops down to Ftan.
