Visitors to Davos are invariably spoilt for choice and that in almost every respect. The offering is truly stupendous. Just as one would expect of such a town. Nor is it any different when it comes to winter hiking. The choice here beggars comparison. The descent from the Ischalp down to Clavadel and Davos is therefore but one example of the seemingly innumerable winter hiking trails to be enjoyed both in and around Davos. The first part of the tour is a picturesque walk through snowy forests as far as the Clavadeler Alp. From there, the trail winds back down to Clavadel, affording hikers some splendid views en route. The last part of the tour follows the river Landwasser back to Davos.
