Lenzerheide

The Lenzerheide boasts an impressive network of winter-safe hiking trails. Both on the Stätzerhorn to the west and the Parpaner Rothorn to the east, there are several kilometres of trails, most of which lead through the snow-clad forest. Almost every tour starts at Lake Heid, which is iced over in winter. The Spoina Tour in the west of the Lenzerheide takes you through a huge forest, although there are some wonderful views of the Rothorn range to be glimpsed en route. The highest point of the tour is the hamlet of Spoina, where there is a cosy mountain hut commanding spectacular views of the mountains round about.
