The resorts of Flims, Laax and Falera together form one vast winter sports arena. While skiers and snowboarders are having fun on the sunny slopes of the Vorab, winter hiking fans can explore the labyrinthine hiking trails leading through the snow-clad forests between Waldhaus and Trin Mulin. Peaceful forests, icy mountain lakes and spectacular views into the depths of the Rhine gorge are among the many pleasures to be had on this walk from Waldhaus to Trin Mulin. Half way through the tour, you can treat yourself to some of the delicious food served at the Conn restaurant, which not surprisingly is a popular haunt among day-trippers too. After that, the tour leads down to the Crestasee and from there across a large field back to Trin Mulin.
Flims-Waldhaus - Lag La Cauma - Conn - Lag La Cresta - Trin Mulin
From the post office in Waldhaus, set off along the trail to Lag La Cauma. From there, follow the signs to Conn. At the Conn restaurant, continue in the direction of the Lag La Cresta. In the middle of the forest, the route branches off sharply to the right and from there leads down to the Lag La Cresta. At the lake, follow the signs to Trin Mulin.
