The chestnut trail with its information panels also offers blood-red Verrucano rock and the Murg gorge as attractions. The picturesque gorge with its attractive water mills in colourful stone is only a few minutes from the Murg railway station, the starting point for the chestnut trail.

Two-hour walk through the habitat of the magnificent, blue Rosalia alpina beetle. For half a century, the Alpine longhorn beetle was thought to be extinct in the region. The trail begins with a short documentary film in the tourist bureau and leads from the Oey-Diemtigen railway station to the Burgholz railway station.

Mont Sujet (1382m) lies between Lake Biel and Chasseral. A sculpture trail winds from Lamboing to the 'Bergerie du Haut' mountain hostel (1.5 hours). An out-of-the-ordinary, somewhat steep walking trail for all nature enthusiasts. The wooden sculptures were created in 1996 by students of the Brienz Technical College for Wood Carving. The Bible trail extends from the St. Michael parish church in Wilere/Binn to the pilgrimage chapel in Heiligkreuz in the Leng valley. Crosses bearing biblical texts stand at the periphery of the trail. A bench next to each station invites walkers to rest and reflect.
