The animal world
Feeding goats, petting goats, drinking goats' milk and eating goats' cheese ....! An interesting visit to Geissenpeter awaits you and your family. Children will love to move among the four-legged friends.
Ever seen a roe-deer, deer or an ibex "live"? You'll have the opportunity to do so in the Surses. Those who prefer not to go looking on their own, can join one of the guided game observation groups.

The first recorded pilgrimage to Ziteil (2434 m above sea level) took place in 1580.

Winter huts in Switzerland
'Alp' restaurant at 1,600 metres with views across Oberhalbstein. Specialities include fondue, raclette, Roggi's grilled open cheese sandwiches, special coffees. Easily accessible from the Savognin chairlift and from Parsonz (also by car), in winter only on foot or with skis. Schlittada: Snow-scooter pick-up service with toboggan hire, headlamp, fondue or raclette fun, followed by an evening toboggan descent to the village.
Self-service restaurant. In addition, there is the cosy restaurant "Steiva" with waiter service. Igloo bar boasting lounge chairs.
In the middle of the skiing area. Catered à la carte restaurant with a sun-terrace, as well as self-service. The toboggan run is nearby. Shuttle service for our guests by means of the Snowliner.
From the bed to the ski run! That is easily accomplished at Mountain House Radons, located at 1,900 metres a.s.l., in the middle of the skiing area.

Alp Flix is one of Europe's most important high moorlands with a breathtaking panorama. Snowshoe hikes in a picturesque landscape can easily be combined with fine dining.
Theme and discovery trails
Father Alexander Lozza from Marmorera (1880–1953) was the priest in Salouf, a notorious poacher and an exceptionally gifted Romanic poet. An easy walking trail from Savognin to Stierva, bordered with 13 Romanic poems by the father, complete with German translations. Magical scenery with neat villages. Savognin (1200m) to Stierva (1375m): 4.5h, return by Postbus.
Over 100 different flowers, medicinal plants and Alpine herbs are specifically marked on the adventure trail that leads from Somtgant (chair lift summit station, 2102m) towards Laritg. A theme pamphlet is available from Savognin Tourism.
