Alois Carigiet, the ¿father" of the famous picture book figure of ¿Schellenursli" (¿Little Urs and the bell,") was born 100 years ago. The renowned Swiss artist is duly celebrated in his hometown of St.Moritz. He is also honored with a hiking trail (1.5 km) telling the story of ¿Schellenursli" on signposts leading from the Heidi hut to the Via Tinus at St. Moritz.
