The Historical Rail Path follows the route of the Albula railway from Bergün to Preda, a classic among alpine crossings. It affords you a close look at the many impressive constructions that keep the train on track in the ever-changing terrain. The path is very popular, with roughly 30,000 people visiting each year (spring to fall,) and takes about two to two and a half hours to hike (8 kilometers.) The same path can also be visited and retraced with a giant model at the Bergün Museum.
