Enjoy a cruise on the Walensee (Lake Walen) with a stop at the car-free vintner's village of Quinten situated at the southern foot of the Churfirsten range.
Quinten is Switzerland's only village that can only be reached by ship or on foot. The car-free wine village at the southern foothills of the Churfirsten range has a population of 50. It is a popular destination on Lake Walen. Well worth a visit is also the Bernhard Chapel and the "Alte Post" near the harbor of this village. In the mild, southern climate of Quinten, Eastern Switzerland's Riviera, even figs and kiwis are grown.
