Hotel Adler – Hotel to Napoleon
The "Adler" hotel in Ermatingen, situated alongside the lovely Untersee section of Lake Constance is the oldest hotel in the canton of Thurgau and is reputed to be one of the three oldest hostels in Switzerland. Many prominent names, among them Queen Hortense, Napoleon III and Rene de Châteaubriand, can be found in the old guest book.
