Swiss Travel System - Swiss trains run like clockwork

If your experience of rail travel involves being squashed like a sardine during the rush hour, Switzerland’s public transport system will you weak at the knees.
A seamless transportation chain
Every destination in Switzerland can be reached by public transport, and frequent connections guarantee a smooth journey. Train stations situated within the major airports make for straightforward links from plane to train.

Swiss Passes
The Swiss Pass or Swiss Flexi Pass both provide unlimited, economical access to Switzerland’s trains, buses, boats and city transit systems and offer bonuses, such as discounts on cable cars and guided city tours. Swiss Passes are good for unlimited usage for four, eight, 15 and 22 days or one month. The Swiss Flexi Pass is available for any three- to eight-day periods within one month. All these are available for first- or second-class travel.

Saver Passes
Travel with a friend and take advantage of 15% discount per person on all Swiss Passes.

Scenic routes included
Flagship routes connect the most attractive tourist destinations. Often you’ll find special panoramic carriages – for example, on the Glacier Express or the Wilhelm Tell Express.

Take your pick
The Swiss Travel System provides a dedicated range of travel passes and tickets exclusively for visitors from abroad. Tickets are as individual as your travel plans. When purchasing the train ticket of your choice, you’ll receive a detailed map showing where your ticket is valid.

Free admission to museums
All Swiss Passes also double up as a Swiss Museum Pass, giving you free entry to approximately 430 museums, exhibitions and historic castles all over Switzerland. Find a detailed list of all participating museums at www.museumspass.ch
