The route to the well-furnished and well-equipped Gelten hut at the foot of the Wildhorn leads past Lauenen Lake. The surroundings of the Gelten hut, about two hours further up, is practically as beautiful as Lake Lauenen - Gelten-Iffingen Nature Reserve, alpine pastures and nearly glaciers define the landscape's character. An extraordinary, unique nature and landscape experience for the whole family - for all those looking for peace, relaxation and revitalization! Gelten Hut (Geltenhütte): 3 hours away from Lauenen, 2 hours away from Lake Lauenen.

After a cozy overnight stay at the hut, return via Lake Lauen. The hike to Lauenen takes about 2.5 hours.

For families: relatively large waterfalls en route to the hut.
