Hikeon the lane, past the old chapel beneath the little village to Pont d'Essertines. Besides the great variety of songbirds, including the nightingale, rare orchids also thrive and blossom on old pastures. If you are lucky, you will spot a kingfisher, a species that is very rare in Switzerland.
