The Sense and Schwarzwasser Rivers have cut deep ravines and canyons
into the soft sandstone all around the Gantrisch. This makes for
attractive hikes in romantic seclusion surrounded by natural
wilderness. Starting point and end of the hike is the inn at the
Schwarzwasser Bridge.

Climb down into the canyon on a meandering trail. In the valley basin you will hike along the Wildbach, a wild brook. All the way you will be accompanied only by the sound of the rushing water. After hiking through a veritable fairy tale forest and past picturesque farmsteads, you will return to the Schwarzwasser Bridge.
