The shiny steam and electric locomotives pulling the carriages receive a lot of tender loving care and are a beautiful reminder of a bygone age. The same is true of the scenery along the track which runs for 3 km and takes passengers over a viaduct and through a tunnel.
The Shed Museum in Chaulin-Chamby houses a large railway exhibition, and the association has bought more than 60 carriages to display here. It is without a doubt the most beautiful and representative railway carriage collection in Europe.
Opening hours:
Between May and October.
How to get there:
By car: take the motorway and exit at Vevey, then follow signs for St. Legier. There is a large free car park at Blonay station.
By public transport: take the CEV from Vevey and the MOB from Montreux.
