Since its foundation in 1889, the Institut auf dem Rosenberg has educated students in a multicultural and multilingual environment. Generations of students have benefited from the experience of living and learning in an international community of their peers. Such an education has always had its privileges, but it is especially relevant in today’s ever-changing world when tolerance and understanding are vital both locally and globally.

Students live in houses according to gender and age in a verdant residential area. St. Gallen’s optimal geographical location offers the possibility to participate in all summer and wintertime sports. Activities such as tennis, golf, horse riding, waterskiing, ice skating, skiing and snowboarding are part of the recreational programme. Airports are close by (Zurich 80 km, Altenrhein 10 km) allowing for quick access to international connections.

In addition to their regular studies, students of all sections have the opportunity to specially prepare for the different language certificates.
