The school remains deliberately small, never more than 200 students per semester, so that students on all courses can be assured of highly personalized support in their learning. Students come from all over the world contributing to a truly international culture.

The school offers a full range of under- and postgraduate programmes. IMI’s Certificate, Diploma and Higher Diploma programmes are recognized and its degrees are validated by Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU), UK. Language classes (French or German) and Personal Development Planning are an integral part of the curriculum. Each course covers a 5- or 6-month semester. Paid in-training in Switzerland or abroad may be taken after each programme and hotel groups recruit from campus. Direct entry to different courses is possible with accreditation of prior learning.

The majority of the students live on campus. Students can choose between single or shared accommodation with or without ensuite bathroom. Full board meals are provided seven days a week. The campus is equipped with wireless Internet access. A range of sports and leisure activities is available on the premises or in the surrounding area.
