Routes:
Lucerne - Stans - Engelberg (- Titlis)
Lucerne - Sarnen - Brünig - Meiringen - Interlaken East

The Zentralbahn connects Lucerne and Engelberg, passing through Stans and also runs between Lucerne and Interlaken East (see GoldenPass Line) passing by Sarnen and the Brünig Pass.

In a bit less than an hour, the Zentralbahn brings you from Lucerne with its glittering lake to the fascinating Alpine world of Engelberg, home to one of Switzerland's famous cloisters. Getting there is half the fun and so it is with this trip that goes through many charming villages and unique vista points.
The trains of the Zentralbahn run hourly between 8.00 hrs and 21.00 hrs, from Lucerne to Stans and Giswil even at an interval of a half hour.

Option:
ascend Mount Titlis with the world's first rotating cable car. Once there, admire the glacier and the grandiose alpine panorama from an altitude of 3020 m a.s.l. or visit the Ice Grotto, the Glacier Park, enjoy a ride on the chair-lift «Ice Flyer» or test your mettle on a «Trottibike».
