Getting Around 
The same is also true for the tourists who are lucky to have Switzerland's longest cable car to take them to the Schilthorn. 7000 meters of aerial cables connect the valley station of the Schilthorn Cable Car to the mountain station 2103 meters higher up. The cable-car makes the trip in four different segments, from Stechelberg in the Lauterbrunnen Valley to Gimmelwald, from there to Mürren and Birg until you come to the glorious summit of the Schilthorn.
The view stretches from the majestic Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau as far as Mont-Blanc and the Black Forest. The Schilthorn was memorably used as a location in the film "On Her Majesty's Secret Service", where James Bond had an exciting ski chase.

How to get there:
Drive or take public transportation via Interlaken and Lauterbrunnen to Stechelberg, in Stechelberg take the aerial cable car to the Schilthorn.
