Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn (Valais)
From Göschenen, the trip leads through the wild Schöllenen gorge up to Andermatt. Or how about beginning in Disentis and continuing your ride via the Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn towards Andermatt, crossing the Oberalp Pass (2,033 m ü.M., 6,709 ft.a.sl.) and along Lake Oberalp making wide curves all the way to Andermatt.
Mont Blanc / St. Bernard
Starting point for the unique Mont Blanc Express and the St. Bernard Express is in Martigny in the canton of Valais.
Spiez – Frutigen – Kandersteg – Goppenstein – Brig (Valais)
People who have been speeding through the new Lötschberg base tunnel have saved a little time and missed a great deal instead. The imposing Kander Viaduct, the turning loops around the Felsenburg and the impressive view of the Rhone Valley can only be experienced on the almost 100-year-old mountain route between Kandersteg and Goppenstein.
Zermatt–St. Moritz/Davos (Valais)
It connects world-famous St. Moritz with a destination that’s just as renowned, Zermatt, at the foot of the Matterhorn. Each of the seven hours travelling time offers a succession of unforgettable views and impressions.
