The fleet of the Zug shipping company consists of four boats of different sizes. The newest motor launch, the MS Zug, won the “iF Design Award”, an international design prize, in 2004. Catering on board is provided by a private company called “Kulinaria”. All food is freshly prepared actually on board – surely a rarity in the age of mass catering. The options range from wholesome on-board elevenses to evening cruises on a variety of culinary themes. The “dessert trip” is especially popular with children and others with a sweet tooth.

There are a number of special excursions in addition to the regular service: holiday tours, a pirate ship (which pursues the regular service boat, with an exciting treasure hunt) or a romantic wedding ride with a symbolic ceremony followed by the wedding reception. In summer, the music boats, such as the salsa, golden oldies and disco boats, are very popular.
