The fjord-like Lake Walen is one of the most beautiful stretches of water in Switzerland. Enjoy a short cruise from the historical little town of Weesen to the Seerenbach Waterfalls in Betlis or to Quinten and have yourself gastronomically pampered with fine fish specialities in one of the many cosy restaurants around the shores of Lake Walen.
The boats of the Lake Walen shipping companies run all year round, although in winter the service is limited to the connection from Murg to the otherwise inaccessible Quinten. There are special trips such as brunch, pasta and barbecue tours in addition to the normal service.
