Klosters
The Madrisa Train operators call the mountain station “Entrance to the Alpine Park Landscape”. And they are quite justified in doing so, for there are innumerable natural and cultural phenomena in a tiny space at the border between Graubünden and Vorarlberg.
The gondola lift whisks visitors in only 11 minutes from the valley station of the ancient Walser village of Klosters across Graubünden’s magnificent forested mountains to the mountain station of Albeina-Saaseralp. The airy ride covers over 2,300 meters and climbs 746 meters.

From the Saaseralp you can overlook the entire Prättigau region. The Madrisahorn (2,826 meters) rises majestically like a mighty cornerstone for the neighboring country of Austria, which is right behind it.
