With approximately 4,000 pictures by Paul Klee, the famous painter (40% of the total body of his works), the new Zentrum Paul Klee is the largest collection of this kind worldwide. The extraodinary building, with its wave-like form was designed by the Italian architect Renzo Piano. Besides art exhibits, the Paul Klee Center is also a platform for music, theater, dance and literature.
