On a visit to this fascinating subterranean salt
mine you can discover the varied and spectacular
techniques used to extract “white gold”
from 1684 to the present day.
A mine train carries you deep into this fascinating
subterranean world. A museum tells
the history of the “white gold”, and on a tour
you witness the most amazing and distinctive
mining techniques used from when the first
gallery was excavated in 1684 up to the present
day. At 400 metres below ground level is
a restaurant. Special guided tours for groups.
Reservations recommended. Duration of visit:
1¾ hours.

1st Febrary - 31st December. 2009 : Guided tours every Sunday.
1st April - 1st November 2009 : Guided Tours daily
(April, Mai and October: closed on Monday).
