Parsenn Downhill Run

Davos

The Parsenn downhill run, that legendary classic, was first discovered back in January 1904 as a day trip. Nowadays skiers start on the Weissfluh summit and continue for 12 km and 2,020 vertical metres down to Prättigau.

The Parsenn run is as diverse as it is long. After the steep descent from the Weissfluh summit (2,844 m a.s.l.), the varied and wide slope leads to the edge of the forest. Here, at Schifer, there are two cosy restaurants that will tempt you to linger a while. The medium ski slope now runs through a fairytale forest and down to Küblis (810 m a.s.l.). In the winter of 1938, Martin Fopp completed the Parsenn run in a mere 14 minutes and 48 seconds. Even for experienced skiers and snowboarders this run still presents a challenge.
