In August, the traditional open-air festival "Sertig Schwinget" takes place against the backdrop of the magnificent mountain scenery. In the rear of the romantic side valley of Sertig, eagles nest in springtime directly above the waterfall. From here, a beautiful hiking route leads through the Ducan Valley (home of the marmots) via the Fanezzfurgga to Monstein, a Walser village. The pure mountain water inspired the population of Monstein to open Europe’s highest brewery in the year 2001. The contrast of city and countryside are nowhere as obvious as in the landscape of Davos. In the Nutli Hüschi in Klosters and in the local history museum of Davos visitors can retrace the footsteps of the Walser people.

Sertig and Sertig Village
In the 13th century, the German-speaking Walsers settled the mountainous areas in Davos and Klosters. In the remotest area of the romantic side valley of Sertig, farming settlements still dominate the landscape.
