With the title MySouvenir, the concept and the choice of colours, the two artists Dominik Stauch and Paul Le Grand hark back to the verdute paintings, an art form that was widespread as late as the 19th century, while rendering the theme in contemporary terms. Those who are interested can go online and share in deciding the colour combinations in which the flags should be placed. Voters have six colours to choose from and these are put together in such a way so as to be appealing in any combination. The flags are hoisted in a new colour combination every third month, and at the end of the year the most popular choice of colour is replaced by a new one.
