The thunerSeebühen AG takes up the challenge to produce every summer a new world-famous musical on the lake stage – in front of the marvelous backdrop of the Bernese Alps. The large number of visitors proves that they are succeeding.
The Situation today: The Thun Lake Festival distinguishes itself today by high professionalism in organization, artistic expression (acting, singing, dance) and creativity with reference to the total event. The productions and sets amount to a genuine work of art thanks to the unrivaled mix of cultural production and lakeside scenery. In the last five years, over 320,000 enthusiastic people from near and far were inspired by the shows. With a high repeat quotient, every year about 70,000 visitors attend the 28 evening performances on Lake Thun.
