European Energy Award Gold Geneva has been awarded the European Energy Award® Gold for its advanced commitment to sustainable energy policy. This is the highest certification that Energy Cities can obtain and means they have implemented at least 75% of their commitment plan.

Geneva Transport Card In the baggage collection area at the Arrival level of Geneva Airport you can pick up a free ticket for public transport from the machine. This Unireso ticket, offered by Genève Aéroport, allows you to use public transport in Geneva free for a period of 80 minutes.
Also, each guest staying in a hotel in Geneva receives a card granting free use of public transport in and around the town throughout his stay.

Group Manotel, 3* and 4* hotels The Manotel Group, comprising 6 unique and different hotels in the heart of Geneva, has operated a sustainable development charter with 10 concrete measures, since 2007. In 2012, for the third consecutive year, it gave the WWF a cheque from the substantial savings made on energy and water.

Palexpo Palexpo is strongly committed to sustainable development and has formed a cross-departmental, multi-disciplinary sustainable development committee. All 3 axes of CSR are covered and the purchasing policy follows the principles of "buy sustainable and/or recyclable" and "buy as locally as possible". Palexpo supports and promotes renewable energy by using hydraulic and solar power in particular, and has a photovoltaic system on the roofs of its exhibition halls.

Novotel Genève Centre 4*, Earth Check certified Conference hotel and member of the Accor chain, it is Earth Check certified and works with the group on the "Planet 21" programme which comprises 7 pillars and 21 commitments. Information plaques are posted encouraging customers to engage with the hotel, although without any pressure to do so.
