Arrival
The Puschlav lies on the Southern slope of the Bündner Alps. The South- Easternmost tip of the Grisons is entirely surrounded by Italy. In the North, the 2'328 m high Bernina Pass links the valley to the Engadine and hence to Switzerland. Just under 5000 people live in the two localities of Poschlavo and Brusio in a local authority area covering 238 km2. The population is concentrated on or near the two main centres.
