This oldest hotel in Wengen, built in 1881, has been run by the same family ever since. In earlier years, guests had to walk the steep path from Lauterbrunnen to Wengen or were transported by litter or horse. 1929/30 marked the hotel's first winter season.
The hotel has been gently modernised and is renowned for its good service and delicious Swiss specialities. A hospitable family business in the best Swiss hotel tradition.

Arrival
By car Take the motorway to Interlaken and exit at Wilderswil. From there, follow directions to Lauterbrunnen where you may park your car. Wengen does not have access by car. In Lauterbrunnen get on to the little cogwheel train that will take you to Wengen (15-minute-ride). In Wengen our porter will be pleased to meet you. Please advise us of your arrival time. By train International trains stop in Interlaken Ost where you connect by train to Lauterbrunnen. From here take the Wengernalpbahn to Wengen. Our porter will be pleased to meet you.
