The Hotel des Trois Couronnes on the shores of Lake Geneva was built in 1842. A full-scale renovation in 2000 left the rooms with state-of-the-art comforts without impinging on the historic substance of the building housing them. On the contrary, the Trois Couronnes is now an enchanting symbiosis of tradition and avant-garde. The spa has its own indoor pool in which swimmers are treated to underwater music. The establishment has belonged to Swiss Historic Hotels since 2003.

The Hotel des Trois Couronnes was erected on the foundations of Belles Truches castle and has long had an irresistible magnetism for royalty, nobility, musicians and writers from all over the world.

Among the reasons for this is the beauty of the Nyon-Montreux region – a sun-drenched lakeside Riviera with majestic mountains as a backdrop and surrounded by the famous vineyards of the Lavaux, recently added to the UNESCO list of World Heritage sites.
