Local specialities range from Luzerner Chügelipastete (a meat-and-mushroom pie) and Birnenweggen (cakes made with dried pears) to Lozärner Rägetröpfli (chocolates filled with cherry brandy) and Chatzestreckerli (biscuits made of almonds and honey). You can also taste fine regional cuisine at restaurants such as the Pfistern guild hall, the Galliker and the Old Swiss House.
